(Sr.) QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA team members, to identify testing needs and deliver high-quality software.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to detect software failures and defects.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution, using appropriate tracking tools.
- Optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks for better coverage and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in QA automation to implement improvements.
Requirements
- Experienced with Application Testing/ System Testing/ Web base Testing.
- Able to quickly read through API spec and create automation script such as python or Robot framework.
- and hands-on experience on using tools such as Postman to test it and verify the result.
- Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies. (e.g, unit testing, integration testing, system testing).
- Experience in UI automation tools such as Selenium and/or knowledge in stress testing tools such as jMeter, K6, or LoadRunner
- Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development lifecycle and web technologies, such as inspecting api result, etc.
- Experience in an agile environment.
- Experience with internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced with organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Analysis skill on faults and bugs found.
